⚠ Please note: Prepay is not activated by default and is generally reserved for customers on higher-tier plans with specific business needs. If this applies to you, and you believe Prepay may be a good fit for your account, please reach out to your account manager. Prepay+ is only available to existing users who already have it enabled.
Overview
When setting up a Prepay job, there are a few extra settings to configure, such as the ordering deadline, price profile, and the information you want to collect from customers. This guide covers each step.
Prepay settings
You will find the Prepay settings on your Job Settings page under Step 3 – Important Events.
First, tick the Prepay checkbox to display additional configuration options:
The following options can be adjusted:
- Deadline: Customers will be able to place orders until 11:59 PM on this date.
- Access code: This is only required if you enable Protected Access in the General Prepay Settings. Access codes are not case-sensitive and can contain letters and numbers.
- Price profile:This price list will be used in the Prepay shop.
- No upselling options (e.g., additional poses, downloads, prints) are available—even with proofing profiles.
- Download All package is not supported. Instead, offer the Individual Download product.
- You can set mandatory package purchase or a minimum order value.
- The Download with all background package allows customers to buy a download package with all backgrounds for a fixed price.
This is how it appears in the shop:
Important: Add at least one package to make products visible. If you want to sell only individual items, create a package containing them.
- Custom fields: First and last names are required. You can add up to three additional fields (e.g., coach, team, grade). These fields are customizable and linked to the names list.
The takeaway
Prepay jobs offer custom options for deadlines, pricing, and data collection. Setting these up properly ensures a smooth ordering experience for your customers while capturing the right information for production and delivery.
