Planning Phase Checklist

We're thrilled to have you on board with GotPhoto, and we're here to ensure your photo jobs run seamlessly!

To help you get started, we've put together a handy checklist of tasks to set up your upcoming photo jobs. The tasks on this page are all related to the Planning Phase of your job (i.e. pre-Picture Day). 

Before you get started, make sure you've created price profile and communication profile you'd like to apply to this job. Once you create profiles and packages in your account, you can then use them for all future jobs!

The links below will lead you through the various steps for setting up your photo job.  Steps beginning with "Prepay" are relevant for Prepay jobs only. 
⚠ Please note: Prepay is currently only available to North American customers. 

Job Settings Create a Photo Job   Set Up Customer Registration Choose Your Access and Tagging Method Upload Student Data into Your Photo Job  Enable Favorite Photo Selection (Optional — Use this for yearbook photo selection!) Prepay: Customize Your Prepay Settings Add a Price Profile (Prepay price profiles are covered in Prepay settings) Create a Job Coupon (Optional — But a big sales booster!) Choose Your Shipping Method  If you've decided to use batch shipping → Set Up Batch Shipping  Set an Archiving Date Add a Communication Profile  Adjust Your Advanced Job Settings Prepay: Change Job Status to "Prepay" → Check out this article to learn how to change a job's status. Prepay: Once you are ready to start receiving prepay orders, you need to notify your customers. If you are using a communication profile, this process will be automated. But if you don't have customer contact information, you'll need to coordinate communication with the organization.
