Overview

If you're considering downgrading or closing your GotPhoto account, this article provides a step-by-step guide and important considerations for a seamless transition. Learn how to switch plans, manage storage space, and explore options for downgrading.

Downgrading

You can downgrade your account anytime by adjusting your plan settings and ensuring your storage use is under the Free Plan limit.

How to downgrade your plan

1. Click your name in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Select My Account.
3. In the left menu, choose My Plan.

Free plan storage limit

To switch to the Free Plan, ensure your total storage use does not exceed 5 GB. You can check this on the bottom left of your admin dashboard. If over the limit, delete images or albums within Photo Jobs to reduce storage. Do not delete the entire job, as it contains useful statistics.

Pro tip: Deleting albums in multiple jobs

This option also appears in your Change Plan settings.

If you're unable to change plans after reducing storage, please contact support for help.

If you're subscribed to the Entagged Name List but no longer use GotPhoto, retain a free GotPhoto account to manage your Entagged subscription.

Closing your account

We're sorry to see you go! Please let us know why you're leaving. Your feedback helps us improve both our product and services.

How to close your account

[Important] In cases where payments are pending, or you are waiting for a 1099-K form, account deletion may be delayed.

Once deleted, accounts and associated statistics cannot be restored. If you're only pausing your photography business, we recommend switching to the Free Plan to retain access at no cost.

The takeaway

Downgrading your GotPhoto account is easy and flexible. Follow the provided instructions to adjust your plan, manage storage efficiently, or close your account with help from our Customer Care team. Your feedback is valuable and helps us improve GotPhoto for everyone.
