Create a Product Package

Overview

Product packages can include a variety of print, gift, and even digital products all bundled together, which are then offered at a lower price than when offering the items individually. This gives the best value to your customers and helps you achieve higher average order rates. It also simplifies product selection for customers, as several products can be ordered with just a few clicks. In this article, we will review how to create a product package for standard jobs.

  4. Complete your settings (optional):

    1. Brief description: You can give your package a brief description that will be displayed under the package name in your shop.
    2. Limit to one access: If you tick this box, customers cannot combine photos from multiple access codes (i.e. siblings) into one package.
    3. Product image: You can upload your own package graphics to the shop. We recommend 6:4 aspect ratio 450x300px. Please note: the image will appear in the desktop version of your shop, not in the mobile version.
    4. Description: Here you can put a longer description of the package, which will appear in the package details in your shop.
  5. Click Save changes to save your Package Settings.
  6. Click on + Add Products to view your lab's product catalog.

pack_proof_6.pngPlease note: Products are based on the availability at each specific lab. If you switch labs in the future, you will need to create new packages.
  7. To select a product, click the Add button to the far right of it.

  8. Once you've added all your products, click on < Back to product packages.

  9. Update the Quantity column to adjust the number of product units you want to include in the package.

  10. Update the "Available for" column to indicate which products can be purchased for which photos.

    • All photos: This means that the customer can order this product from any photos in the subject's gallery.
    • Only individual photos: This means that the customer can only order this product from the "individual" photos in the subject's gallery (i.e. the individual photo of the child).
    • Only group photos: This means that the customer can only order this product from the "group" photos in the subject's gallery (i.e. the team or class photo of the group).
  11. Set your restrictions.

By ticking "Single pose," customers can't mix and match multiple photos in the same package (you can tick this box and upsell additional poses to the customer for an added fee).

By ticking "Single background," customers can't mix and match multiple backgrounds in the same package (you can tick this box and upsell additional backgrounds to the customer for an added fee).
  12. All changes will be saved automatically.

You can now add the package to a price profile to set the price, and then link the price profile to your job! Once a product package has been created, you can link it to any number of photo jobs.

The Takeaway

Product Packages are a great way to incentivize your customers to purchase multiple products. By setting up a price package, you can boost your average order rates, make things more convenient for your customers, and have a setup ready to go for all future jobs.
