Overview
This article explains how GotPhoto integrates with Darkroom software to automate your order fulfillment process using Easy Production Sync and .txt file transfer.
How GotPhoto's Darkroom integration works
You can build your own “single image” templates in Darkroom and also create corresponding product sizes in your GotPhoto Production tab by mapping the size, media, and template path data. Custom subject data entry is also supported.
GotPhoto then generates and pushes a properly formatted .txt
order file, product images, and delivery note to an order transfer application on your system.
With proper folder mapping between your system’s transfer application and the Darkroom command folder, this triggers automatic creation of the order within Darkroom. From there, continue with your usual printing and production workflow.
⚠ Important: You will need to be familiar with Darkroom’s workflow. GotPhoto does not provide support for the Darkroom software itself.
The integration requires a licensed copy of Darkroom Professional v9.3 or Assembly Edition v9.3.

This integration relies on the Easy Production Sync tool, which resides on your local system and monitors new orders in GotPhoto. It transfers the GotPhoto order payload into your Darkroom Command Folder. Learn more about Easy Production Sync.
The takeaway
With the Darkroom integration, you can streamline your fulfillment by automating order creation and syncing it directly with your local production tools. Be sure to follow the linked documentation carefully and confirm compatibility with Darkroom v9.3 or higher.
