Review Phase Checklist

We're thrilled to have you on board with GotPhoto, and we're here to ensure your photo jobs run seamlessly!

To help you get started, we've put together a handy checklist of tasks to get your photos ready for ordering. The tasks on this page are all related to the Review Phase of your job (i.e. after Picture Day, but before customers start ordering).

  • Here we’ll show you how to build beautiful online galleries that customers will love and want to order from!
  • If you are working with Prepay sales: You’ll want to fulfill orders that have already been made by customers during the prepay ordering period. This section will walk you through how to upload your photos to GotPhoto and match the right photos to the correct orders before sending them off to the lab. The Prepay feature is currently only available for North American customers.

The links below will lead you through the various steps for getting your photos ready to sell. Steps beginning with Prepay or Proofing are relevant for those job types only.

  1. Edit Your Photos: Any photo editing that you plan to do independently should be done first thing, before uploading your photos into the GotPhoto platform. Looking to save time and effort? GotPhoto's integrated editing solutions are mentioned later in this checklist.
  2. Set a Watermark
  3. Create a New Album and Edit Its Settings
  4. Upload Your Photos
  5. Sort Your Photos and Activate Access Codes:
  6. Assign a New Index Photo (Optional: GotPhoto will assign default index photos for you)
  7. Submit Your Photos for Editing (Optional):
